counter trump
For Sen. Elizabeth Warren, the 2018 race was little more than a tune-up for the 2020 presidential campaign. She breezed to re-election by 24 points.
Warren exhibited strength in Massachusetts’s 10 youngest municipalities (Gen X, Millennials).
We can look at who voted for Warren in 2018 to see who might vote for her in 2020 — both in the primary and in the general election.
Most Americans Support Warren’s ‘Ultramillionare Tax’
And we can look at the "anybody but Trump" crowd.
Socialism is NOT An Effective Political Bogeyman!
30 years after the end of the Cold War, Americans don’t view socialism the same way they once did. In 1949, Gallup asked Americans what they thought “socialism” meant. 34 percent of Americans thought socialism signified “government ownership or control” — of businesses, utilities and “everything.”
But when Gallup asked the same question in September 2018, it found that respondents associated socialism with equality (only 17 percent said they viewed socialism as government ownership).
And in 2018, Americans associated socialism with benefits like social security, homeless shelters, food banks, care for the elderly, and universal access to medicine.
Gen-Xers, now in their 40s and 50s, are much more likely to be mid-career, to have responsibilities for small children or aging parents, or to be lost in the swamps of midlife crisis.
Millennials are hot for socialism!

let the trump follies begin
the retard on robo-fussin is doing his "rallies" (a.k.a. follies)
SOME take his utterances as the gospel truth...
most folks (world-wide) see him for the IDIOT that he is...
I pity the fools that flock to his follies.
he certainly has his share of high-profile defenders...
and his speech-writers do seem to stand out...
his loyal toilet twitter followers would eat a mile of his sh*t just too kiss his ass...
and SOME, no doubt, of his followers (the zombies) got brains...
so, by all means, let the trumpster in the dumpster stage his follies...
and GOP TV reports the "alternate facts."
primary election season approaches and republicans are running their cockroaches in coaches...
while the buffoon in the balloon builds his wall...
it breaks the spackle loose in my intestines...
and sends me to the John to dump my mud...
as the the trumpster in the dumpster promotes his widely popular (NOT) idea...

Propaganda time for the trumpster in the dumpster
Propaganda is information that is not objective and is used primarily to influence an audience, often by presenting facts selectively.
Propaganda uses loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response.
At Trump rallies, paid actors are on camera behind him CLAPPING on CUE.
Apparently, the idea came from Russia (and some of the money may have also come "from Russia with Love" -- for Trump's damage to democracy).
Well, the trumpster in the dumpster is out selling snake oil to the rattle snakes!
His CULT FOLLOWING loves him, no doubt.
"North Korea" loves him, no doubt.
However, Trump has NEVER had a 50% approval rating - not EVER.
The number is 40% and NOT the 50% that the trumpster in the dumpster CRAVES.
Reality is not what his cult following, or his FAUX Snews spreads (wipe your shoes off)!
The farmer hauled another load away.
You could tell by the smell it wasn't hay!

Making a FOOL of Trump
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's dismissive reactions to Trump's State of the Union address on Tuesday are going viral.
Pelosi was sitting behind Trump for the 82-minute speech, meaning many TV cameras captured her reactions over Trump's LEFT shoulder. (Even that is symbolic.)
People shared images of Pelosi pursing her lips, raising her eyebrows, and interacting with Democrats in the crowd in a way that they suggested detracted from Trump's message.
Perhaps the most widely shared moment was Pelosi's mocking round of applause for Trump early in his speech.
"We were super-excited and high-fiving," Kuster said. "And he really didn't realize what was going on — he didn't understand what we were doing."
"Finally, he did [understand], because he got very — he was ticked off."
"I think he caught on that the joke was on him," she added.
Women account for 38% of all House Democrats and 36% of Senate Democrats, while they make up 8% of House Republicans and 15% of Senate Republicans.
Actually, nobody is better at making a fool out of the trumpster in the dumpster than the "day late and dollar short" donald himself! (There was neither hatred nor scorn. There was cheering over every woman's accomplishment. You are not the victim, donald, YOU are the abuser of power! And congressional democrats diminished your power.)

Trump threats...
WASHINGTON — On Wednesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi characterized President Trump's description of "ridiculous, partisan investigations" as a threat to Democrats.
"An economic miracle is taking place in the United States, and the only thing that can stop it are foolish wars, politics, or ridiculous, partisan investigations," Trump said during his SOTU.
(There IS a global economic slowdown - - triggered by Trump's tariff wars so he is posturing to shift blame away from himself.)
The next morning, Pelosi pushed back.
“That was a threat. Presidents should not bring threats to the floor of the House," the California Democrat told a group of reporters at the U.S. Capitol.
House Democrats then moved forward with their inquiries, as the House Intelligence Committee will expand its Russia probe into Trump, including Kremlin “leverage” over the president.
That committee voted to send more than 50 interview transcripts to special counsel Robert Mueller which the previous (Republican-controlled) House Intelligence Committee refused to do.
The committee chairman, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said the House Intelligence Committee will deepen its future investigations of Russian election interference, seeking links to Trump's businesses, his campaign and his administration.
When asked about Schiff and the committee's move, Trump at first claimed that he had never heard of Schiff. Then he then asked about the congressman's authority.
"Under what basis would he do that?” Trump asked. "He’s just a political hack who’s trying to build a name for himself. It’s called presidential harassment."
Schiff fired back via Twitter.
"I can understand why the idea of meaningful oversight terrifies the President. Several of his close associates are going to jail, others await trial, and criminal investigations continue," Schiff said. "We’re going to do our job and won’t be distracted or intimidated by threats or attacks,"
