Former CIA Director General Michael Hayden: “I know something about the flag … put me down with Kaepernick

Donald Trump’s attacks on the NFL players who protest racism and police brutality has backfired.

Michael Hayden, a four-star general who served in the military for 39 years and went on to serve as national security adviser and head the CIA, has taken a side — and it’s not with Trump.

Trump’s deplorable rant last Friday about “son of a bitch” players who should stand during the national anthem or be fired was over the edge. Trump, before an Alabama crowd of his political base, decided to treat the “SOBs” who wouldn’t stand for the anthem the way he has previously treated other groups like Mexicans (murderers and rapists), intelligence professionals (Nazis), immigrants (deeply unfair), refugees (dangerous), and Muslims (they hate us).

Hayden, unlike the draft-dodging president actually has served in uniform.

“As a 39-year military veteran, I think I know something about the flag, the anthem, patriotism, and I think I know why we fight.” “It’s not to allow the president to divide us by wrapping himself in the national banner. I never imagined myself saying this before Friday, but if forced to choose a side in this dispute, put me down with Kaepernick.”

I digress

Donald Trump has deleted several tweets endorsing the loser he backed in an Alabama election after a humiliating defeat on Tuesday.

"Luther Strange has been shooting up in the Alabama polls since my endorsement," Mr Trump wrote in one now-removed post.

The Tea Party Underdog's victory sent shockwaves through the Republican halls in Washington. After all, Palin and what's his name backed GOOFY.

Trump campaigned for the loser, Mr Strange, but Trump’s political capitol –- like his empire -- carried a substantial debt load!

In one now-deleted Tweet, the president said (the loser) Mr Strange "will never let you down!" (Well, Trump "let the republican establishment down!")

Were talkin' Bama!

Take a bath before church - and look good for Jesus!

And now, Alabama Senator Luther Strange (the loser) is disappearing from Trump's record. (Trump doesn't back losers - and pigs can fly!)

And now, I digress.

Desire for happiness may explain the appearance of particles out of nothing: because their existence gave them “joy”.

Desire for happiness may “exist” by itself, without (physically) existing. As a concept, as an idea, like logic exists without (physically) existing. The reason why something physically exists, may not be physical itself.

Or, to put the cart (physical universe) before the horse (consciousness)...

"As a result of a thousand million years of evolution, the universe is becoming conscious of itself, able to understand something of its past history..."

I have no doubt that the Myth of the Christ is based on Buddhism in the Levant.

The Instruction Scroll in the Dead Sea Scrolls advocated MEDITATION. (Shhhh... it's a secret!)

Constantine I became emperor of Rome in 324.

Buddhism, in the Levant, was swept under the carpet.

RussiaGate to the Gallows

Top Democrats say that the noose is tightening around the Trump family, and that it is now crucial to protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller so he can complete the investigation.

"As the noose starts to close around the White House and around the Trump family, a very different set of behaviors could emerge,” Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-Rhode Island) told Politico on Tuesday. "It’s under those kinds of pressures that the special counsel needs to be able to continue its work.”

He was talking about two bipartisan bills introduced that block Trump from firing Mueller. One bill would requires a review of any termination by three federal judges, and the other would require top officials at the Department of Justice to go before a panel of judges to explain any decision to fire Mueller.

Whitehouse said that it time seek protective measures for Mueller. Whitehouse said the two bills likely would be merged.

“It doesn’t make sense to have competing ones so we’ll have to… work on a compromise version,” he told Politico.

The latest contribution to the Russia probe comes from the IRS, which this week has begun sharing information with Mueller. Though the FBI and the IRS were at odds early in the investigation, the latter is now sharing a decade worth of financial information about a former Trump campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, and about a former national security advisor, Michael Flynn.

On Monday, Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) said Manafort and Flynn were “almost sure” to be hit with criminal charges. “I’m about 99 percent sure there will be some criminal charges from this investigation.”

Trump is Bush League

Trump’s football fails began in 1984, when he bought the Jersey Generals, part of the United States Football League. Befoe Trump, the USFL was envisioned as a complement to the National Football League that would play in the spring, leaving the fall season to the NFL. For its first three years, the strategy was successful.

But it wasn't enough for a bush leaguer like Trump. He shifted the USFL to a fall schedule, where the USFL would go head-to-head with the big league.

The decision crippled the USFL, who couldn’t compete directly with the NFL. Trump even turned down a lifeline in the form of lucrative TV offers to broadcast USFL spring games.

Trump’s plan was typical. Rather than grow a new league, Trump hoped to force a merger with the NFL, which would provide huge financial returns for him.

But things didn’t go Trump’s way. There was no merger. By 1986, the USFL, and Trumps get-rich scheme, was finished. Investors lost millions. Trump’s later Atlantic City Casino fails would be a repeat performance costing investors billions.

“Instead of a president, we have a Caesar, an Emperor whose pronouncements carry the weight of a royal proclamation; a religious imprimatur; a legal mandamus.”

Trump’s presidential campaign was built on the claim that he’s a brilliant businessman worth $10 billion who turns every challenge into success. But Trump has never been that. Instead, he was born into an exceedingly wealthy family and tried to build upon his father’s success with ever-riskier ventures, and by any rational measure, he failed again and again. In 2003, it was reported that Donald and his siblings sold a portion of their father’s real estate holdings for around half a billion dollars.

He’d have done better if he had never gone into business. In 1982, Trump reported to New Jersey regulators a personal net worth of $321 million, almost all from his father’s legacy (Trump would later 'borrow down' the trust funds left to his brothers and sisters to finance his string of failures).

Two years later, a Trump lieutenant testified that his worth had not changed at all. In 2004, in reviewing his application for a loan, Deutsche Bank concluded he was worth $788 million. Trump claims that he is worth $10 billion; Forbes estimates that the real number is under $3.7 billion. Nobody knows the Truth - not even Trump.

Donald Trump is at the pinnacle of confidence in every category of Making America Great Again™, and expert in only one: Making Donald Trump Look Great*. We have a great deal of confidence that he will take American governance and, like the USFL and Casinos, crash it.

Hundreds allege Donald Trump doesn’t pay his bills

It doesn’t matter what policies President Trump claims to pursue.

It doesn’t matter if his team operates with peerless efficiency (rather than the consistent chaos we have seen to date). He doesn’t know enough about either ends or means to understand how incompetent he is at both. Except, America’s working poor will pay the bills.

Third Day, Monday

Trump's Twitter tirade against NFL players who protest racial injustices entered its third day on Monday (today).

Trump CRAVES attention.

He likes to mix metaphors... the white house is most "beautiful" when he returns to occupy it!

Besides Putin, who bought it for him?

Trump worships himself.

He wants YOU to worship him too. "Vacation like a Trump."

In a 14th rated property that he happens to own (along with the huge debt it carries and the YUGE belly he carries).

In the meantime, in the wake of Hurricane 'mother of god'...

"The devastation in Puerto Rico has set us back nearly 20 to 30 years," said Puerto Rico Resident Commissioner Jenniffer Gonzalez. "I can't deny that the Puerto Rico of now is different from that of a week ago. The destruction of properties, of flattened structures, of families without homes, of debris everywhere. The island's greenery is gone."

North Carolina may bear the worst of the storm, as current forecasts show Maria brushing its coast Wednesday morning.

You know what THAT means: RUSH TAX CUTS through congress!

Trump has called for cutting the corporate tax rate by as much as 50 percent, and eliminating the estate tax on inherited wealth, creating a unique opportunity to propose legislation that would benefit business owners such as the Koch brothers.

This is no time for golf.

"I'm going to be working for you. I'm not going to have time to go play golf." --Donald J. Trump, August, 2016

With regard to so much more than golf, our President is an unabashed liar.

Trump, unhinged

The Messiah of Lunacy has spoken.

Trump is an IDIOT, but that fact is not new news.

Trump is Fascist PIG SH*T! That is not because he has been recently promoted.

During a 90-minute speech in Alabama, Trump diverted into a mindless rant about the NFL.

He was focused on Colin Kaepernick and other NFL players who participate in silent protests during the national anthem.

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘get that son of a bitch off the field right now. He is fired. He’s fired!.”

Trump is a blithering IDIOT!

The entire Pittsburgh Steeler Team will stay in the Locker Room during the anthem. It's Now About Drumpf.
