close. but no cigar

Criminal?

In the spring of 2012, Donald Trump’s two eldest children, Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump, Jr., found themselves in a precarious legal position. For two years, prosecutors in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office had been building a criminal case against them for misleading prospective buyers of units in the Trump SoHo, a hotel and condo development that was failing to sell.

Why Robert Mueller Has Trump SoHo in His Sights: The Russian money trail leads right through the president’s troubled project in downtown Manhattan. A series of e-mails reveals new details.

New York prosecutors were preparing a case. Then the D.A. overruled his staff after a visit from a top donor: Trump attorney Marc Kasowitz.

Bailey said that “when we settled, when we received 90 percent of the money back for my clients, all the plaintiffs agreed that they would no longer speak to the DAs office.” He insisted that the connection made in the WNYC/New Yorker/ProPublica investigation between Kasowitz and the dropping of the investigation has “no connection to reality.”

Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr. come up several times in relationship with former Bayrock employee Felix Sater, a mob informant and felon who claims ties to Russian intelligence.

Bayrock partnered with Trump and his two eldest children on a series of real estate transactions between 2002 and 2011, according to Bloomberg, including the troubled Trump Soho hotel and condominium.

The Russian-born Sater and another Bayrock employee, Jody Kriss, conducted business with the Trump family on behalf of investor Tevfik Arif, a Kazakhstan native and former Soviet official living in Turkey who seeded the real estate company with a $10 million investment.

Nobody 'hates' Trump.

The more we learn about Donald Trump, the less remains to like about him.

Wild Horses

Zebras, horses, and other herd animals frighten Donald Trump! Trump also fears germs (mysophobia) but usually limits his Mal-adaptive behavior to avoiding handshakes (see cell phones below).

Equinophobia or hippophobia is a psychological fear of horses. Equinophobia is a mix of Greek φόβος (phóbos), meaning "fear" and Latin word equus, meaning "horse". Hippophobia is derived from the two Greek words fear (phóbos) and horse, ἵππος (híppos).

Trump was also frightened by a Bald Eagle

Donald Trump fell out with Chris Christie on election night when Christie ask Trump to speak to Obama on his (Christie's) call phone, not Trump's cell phone. (germs!)

Wild horses in Nevada could be sold for slaughter in Trump plan

Last week, when a federal judge lifted a temporary restraining order clearing the way for the sale of 149 unbranded wild horses captured by the Fort McDermitt Paiute and Shoshone Tribe in northern Nevada, wild mustang advocates reacted swiftly.

Velma Bronn Johnston a.k.a. “Wild Horse Annie”

I grew up in the Reno area... we used to say "no amount of beer could make Wild Horse Annie look good..."

Mustangs are a living part of America's History. Not the "white washed" history Trump is promoting. (Maybe Trump also fears educated "other than white" voters.) BTW: Xenophobia is the fear of that which is perceived to be foreign - Mexicans? Islamophobia is the "fear of Islam." Beware: "The Silent Rise of Christophobia & Afrophobia!"

Another advocacy group HERE.

For perspective, Coronado's expedition through present-day Arizona and New Mexico took place eighty years before the Mayflower landed on Plymouth Rock.

Mustangs are an American horse breed descended from abandoned horses originating brought from Spain during the early SPANISH conquest of the Americas. They are classified within the larger grouping of the Colonial Spanish horse, a type that today is now rare in Spain. Oh, mustangs are from Spanish Conquistadors! Mustangs are from Spanish Conquistadors!

Can't have THAT!

Horses are MORE than political!

The MYTH

The REALITY

Simple: "How wild horses of the West would die under Trump budget"

In Hindu Brihadaranyaka, the horse is linked to Varuna and as such, is equated to the cosmos. Additionally, a white (pale) horse is believed to be the final incarnation of Vishnu.

In Buddhism the horse is symbolic of energy and effort in the practice of dharma.

In Christianity, the pale horse...

Now I am no "End-timer." (What do 'End Timers' believe about all this religious nonsense?” They happily believe that we sinners left behind will suffer the Tribulation.) From a fish to a pale horse... sound familiar?

Ask a mustang!

Look at me, mommy!

Trump’s response thus far to these events has relied on his sophomoric mentality.

Trump has responded to disasters with what can only be described as an awkward excitement. The president was confident that these chances to preside over what he called “events of epic proportions” would boost his ratings.

Face it, “Apprentice President” is slipping in the ratings, and the wanna-be star of the show, Donald Trump, has turned to disturbing antics to boost his prospects.

Trump’s inability to muster the seriousness this moment requires may leave him as politically damaged as George W. Bush was by the storm that overwhelmed New Orleans, and his reputation, 12 years ago.

Without conveying much sense that he perceived human suffering, Trump has managed to focus the attention on Trump.

Trump is awkwardly playing the role of a concerned president, but as usual he’s obsessed with himself.

Speculation over whether Trump would complete even one full term has swirled since before he even took office. Whispers and, in some cases, cries for impeachment amid investigations into possible collusion with Russia, have been accompanied by predictions that the 71-year-old will simply walk away from the job.

the tethered goat (in Scriptural Studies)

Hang in there, this posting is going SOMEWHERE. (Destination unknown)

In scriptural literature (which I consider folklore) there is the tethered goat problem.

Simply stated, a man ties his goat to the corner of his dwelling. The goat eats grass from BOTH the owner's field (light green) and his neighbors field (dark green).

The shapes and sizes of the fields are changed and the same questions asked.

In the second case, more than half of the grass consumed is from the neighbor's field.

In the third case, less than half of the grass consumed is from the neighbor's field, but the quality is far superior and the goat gets fatter..

Question 1) When the goat is slaughtered, how is the meat apportioned between the two families?

Question 2) When the goat is sacrificed to a god (see below), how much is one man favored (by god) over the other man?

Question 3) When the goat burned as an offering to god, which man is favored more and why? (Burning fat is pleasing to the nostrils of god)

There were plenty of gods in the Levant!

Let's complicate this and say it was a Japanese goat (that didn't understand any of the "Semitic languages")

Or a goat from Srilanka donated by the monkey-king?

Anyway, you get the idea. When I taught AP (advanced placement) Comparative Religions, I said: "There is but one god, Aten, and Akhenaten is his Prophet (Moses). The prophet of Ra was Ramoses or Ramses. You get the idea...

If the goat was from Tibet, would Chinese cooks stir-fry him?

Donald Trump favors Texas and Florida over Puerto Rico.

All Trump knows about Puerto Rico he learned from "The West-Side Story."

So, he has a very limited social circle (if any at all).

As for Trump's religion?

Many, even most, Trump supporters are vicarious millionaires!

Others are wanna-be disciples.

Some talk about his second term - as if he would win reelection!

Some see him as a Christian Crusader.

I see him as the tethered goat of stupidity!

The Strange case of Dr. Seuss

Simple minds demand simple answers -- SIMPLE.

The real FAUX Snews is about a Massachusetts elementary school librarian’s rejection of Melania Trump’s gift of 10 Dr. Seuss books.

Gifts and Dr. Seuss are a complex question. Simple minds do not see it as such.

The times ARE complicated... what Trump and the GOP have in mind:

There is much about Dr. Seuss that the alt-right best NOT know about.

plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose

Discrimination and hatred change with the times...

If forced to choose a side in this dispute, Dr. Seuss would side with Kaepernick.”

Liberty and Justice for all.

"God" was added to the pledge in 1956.

What about Twitler?

The children in Puerto Rico do not count.

$33 million?
And the spread-spectrum autistic president (Twitler):

He's just another ignorant orangutan.

How is the old dote's short-term memory?

“Melinia wanted to be with us…”

The most egregious parts of Donald Trump’s personality—his racism, his misogyny and his lack of scruples or ethics—have been on display for more than four decades. All of those traits have long been part of Trump’s unapologetic public persona. But in recent years, Trump has become an even more extreme version of himself. The behaviors that accompany that shift could be closely correlated with dementia and a general cognitive decline.

Whatever, he won! (Enough fools voted for him).
