Trump's "Red Wave"

"A Blue Wave means Crime and Open Borders. A Red Wave means Safety and Strength!" Trump tweeted on August 21.

And following the California primary in early June, Trump tweeted this: "Great night for Republicans! Congratulations to John Cox on a really big number in California.

Texas has to re-elect a Cuban born in Canada!

That covers BOTH borders!

History suggests that the idea of a red wave is incredibly far-fetched.

Look at a few of the historical hurdles Trump has to bully past to make the "Red Wave" appear:

• Since the Civil War, the party that controls the White House has lost House seats in 35 out of 38 midterm elections.

• The three elections in which the president's party won seats in a midterm were 1934 (Great Depression), 1998 (Bill Clinton impeachment) and 2002 (aftermath of Sept. 11 attacks). Those were all massive happenings.

• Since 1946, the average seat loss for a president's party when that president's job approval rating is under 50% is 36 seats. Trump's job approval is at 36%. That's similar to George W. Bush's 38% approval in 2006 when his party lost 30 House seats.

• Since direct election of senators (in 1913), there have been 19 of 26 midterm elections in which the president's party has lost Senate seats.

Dead Cat, No Bounce

His strongest supporters are generally uneducated older voters. But among the many peculiarities of the Trump presidency is his lack of interest in issues like Social Security, Medicare, and VA benefits.

It turns out that one of the Grand Old Party's biggest—and least discussed—challenges is not taxes, but death! “I've seen studies on how many dead republicans still vote.”

A 65-year-old voter in 2016 will be 73 by the time 2020 rolls around.

Just look at all that red on the Electoral College map! ... And that's how the GOP has set up the conditions of its own undoing. Usually, vacant lots do not vote! When you add VOTERS, the map changes!

It's overly simplistic to say that all older Americans vote Republican, they're just more oldsters that do than don’t. Poll questions demonstrate just how much it's the youngest and the oldest educated people who are progressive!

It’s the uneducated old folks that attend church who are most likely to swallow Trump’s hook. They really don’t listen to Trump, they just BELIEVE in Trump. There is a strident churchianity anti-youth cult that Trump has tapped into. And he can’t afford to let go because these folks are in poor health (he wants to end their ObamaCare), live on Social Security or Disability benefits (both of which congressional republicans want to “scale back”), and frequent VA Hospitals (which Trump wants to close). Exit polls regularly find “Trump voters get gov't benefits - and like it.”

The GOP experienced the ultimate political “dead cat bounce” with neither the cat nor the bounce. Younger generations are much less strident in their religion, and less religious, than the older generations that has supported the GOP recently.

In the long run, we're all dead, but Republicans are especially dead. ... Younger voters have distinctly more liberal views than older voters: ... Many conservatives supported Trump precisely because they were panicked about approaching death and an “invasion” of MS-13 into their neighborhoods.

Well, he's dead.

Dennis Hof called himself the “Trump of Pahrump.”

Nevada brothel owner and Republican State Assembly candidate Dennis Hof was found dead Tuesday.

Hof, a Republican, was running against Democratic Las Vegas educator Lesia Romanov. Now she faces "real stiff" competition.

The infamous former six-term sheriff Joe Arpaio of Phoenix was among the attendees at a birthday bash for the old pimp.

Arpaio said he had taken part in some of Hof's efforts to campaign for the Nevada state Assembly.

Hof, who fashioned himself as a Donald Trump-style candidate, called himself the "Trump of Pahrump."

Nye County Sheriff Lt. David Boruchowitz said an employee at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch brothel summoned authorities a little before 11 a.m.

Dennis Hof was found dead.

Hof was pronounced dead Tuesday after he was found "unresponsive and not breathing" a little before 11 a.m. at the Love Ranch brothel.

The county coroner was also at the party. She says an autopsy will be conducted by the Clark County coroner in Las Vegas. The Nye County sheriff's office says there's no indication of foul play.

If you are a trailer park Republican that couldn't buy a hooker for 5 minutes, you were advised to see Dennis' brother - Jack or just Beat It!.

Put up or Shut Up!

Trump now denies that he offered Elizabeth Warren $1 million to take a DNA test proving her Native American heritage, even though he did!

Warren responded to the president's challenge and released the results of a DNA test showing she has a distant Native ancestor.

Besides this incident, there are 17 other times Donald Trump said one thing and then denied it.

"I didn't say that. You'd better read it again," Trump told reporters at the White House when asked about his $1 million offer.

In a series of tweets on Monday, Warren called on Trump to pay the $1 million to charity.

“NIWRC is a nonprofit working to protect Native women from violence,” Warren said, referring to the National Indigenous Women's Resource Center. “More than half of all Native women have experienced sexual violence, and the majority of violent crimes against Native Americans are perpetrated by non-Natives. Send them your $1M check.”

Warren is viewed as THE Democratic opponent for Trump in 2020 and Trump reiterated his belief he would easily defeat her.
