Title: Pun

Translating scriptures (folklore) is an inexact science.

Especially when it comes to inexact scientists.

While jihadists crave 72 white grapes in the garden, end-timers seek to solve mysteries.
The Koran says martyrs will get “hur,” and the word was taken to mean “virgins.” But in Aramaic, hur actually meant “white” and was commonly used to specifically mean “white grapes.” Remember, in the context of a desolate desert, a lush garden [return to Eden] is rewarding. "for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise)"
Then again, with all that sexual repression in Islamic fundies, WHERE ARE ALL THE VIGINS to be found assuming you BELIEVE that mistranslation?

Now, to the beginning and the pun very very few "got."

The biblical passage I was using as the basis if my pun was none other than the mistranslated and misunderstood folklore in Revelation 17.

Mysterion is not a person, it is an adjective used to modulate the word "Postulate." And Postulate IS the person - thus displaying from the outset that your perception got is backwards! (e.g. like the well-known 15,735 errors in translation within the KJV of 1611) A kick-off point for an OT discussion might start HERE.

Once you know the 'truth,' you can no longer dwell in the realm of demons, deceit, and dreams.

Drawn copper was onto something ( Welt am Draht ). We are all strung out on encoded electron flow - like cars on a train where the conductor is hidden.

One question remains: "Is this train training?"

If this all seems like nonsense to you, all I have to say is: "I certainly hope so!"

Personality

That is the answer.

How do groups like ISIS in particular, and the JW as an aside, pick recruits?

There are a variety of Personality Types, a few described by Meyers-Biggs.

And, as you might expect, there are also a number of personality disorders.

Google: anagrams jung sufi

The middle east or ANE is/was a hotbed of one-upsmanship, gaining the advantage in the caravan trades.

The secret of cults. like ISIS and the JWs, is a foundation of unhappiness and dissatisfaction in those that they target. Sexual repression is an effective tool for religions to use in controlling their "catch." Sexual repression might just be an unintended consequence of personality.

TRUE BELIEVERS lack Critical Thinking Skills.

I will pick an example in which I have no investment. If you BELIEVE vitamin C can cure/prevent cancer, then you have a weakness others can exploit. If you THINK vitamin C can be beneficial based on a preponderance of evidence from your own research, then you have a strength.

My opinion on BELIEF reflects that of the Buddha 2,500 years ago.

cults make liberal use of many influence techniques

Individuals may also have an unreasonably high opinion of themselves and feel that they have been held back in professional or social situations. Religions offer many fabled rewards, from 72 white grapes to inclusion in the 144,000.

Zen offers NOTHING. It may be your best choice.

No need to go door-to-door with comics or go to extremes with bad behavior.

the turkey was kosher thanks to the moil

First of all, I am a vegetarian. I have been a vegetarian for many many years.

All my friends ask me: "Joe, how do I patent..."

Studies have been conducted on the effects of castrating Tom Turkeys.

When it comes to circumcision, turkeys (e.g. barnyard animals) escape.

If abortion was available everywhere, most republican presidential candidates would never have been live born - and they know (and fear) it!

Then there is the issue of "Baby Hitler." (Stolen)

Some Republicans even defend baby Hitler. If Bush killed baby Hitler, it would diminish his grandfather's wealth!

But getting back to thanksgiving and turkey.

Thanksgiving is the celebration of greed and stupidity. Why would I mark that as anything other than 'just another day' in the dream. There is a computer creating this simulation and the programmer(s) has (have) a twisted sense of humor.

For the most part, I am programmed to like it.

Another "Day of the Sun"

You know the spiel: "And there shall be signs in sun, and moon, and stars, and on the land is distress of nations with perplexity, sea and billow roaring" - Luke 21:25

It is claimed that Jesus return "in this generation" never happened, proving Jesus is a false prophet. Is this true?

"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.'' (Matthew 24:34)
"Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.'' (Mark 13:30)
"Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.'' (Luke 21:32)

Well remember that a playwright hired by the Flavian Court wrote 3 plays (like Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth) named Matthew, Mark, and Luke.

So mega churches are correct in staging their productions for the entertainment of the theatre audience.

"Megachurches are more than just your regular pulpit and pew church. They’re larger, they’re packed, and they’re drawing in thousands of people."

In California alone, there are 191 mega churches.

The church used to be "ADVENTURE christian CHURCH" and was a franchise out of Amarillo, Tx.

“One church, eight locations,” is the slogan Amarillo’s Hillside Christian Church is using to describe its merger with a California mega church whose congregation approved the move.

Mergers and acquisitions... just business.

They are just a bunch of nice folks.
