Boris Busted...




Maria Butina, the Russian agent who used gun-rights advocacy to establish ties between the National Rifle Association and the successful attempt by Russians to influence the 2016 election in favor of Trump, was sentenced to 18 months in prison.



U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan sided on Friday with prosecutors who argued her actions posed serious national-security risks for the U.S. Judge Chutkan said Ms. Butina’s actions didn’t reflect merely technical violations, as the defendant’s attorneys had argued.



"This was not a simple misunderstanding by an overeager foreign student," Chutkan said.



Butina will be deported from the United States once she completes her prison sentence. Thereafter, she won't be allowed to return to the United States for 10 years.
