Dingle Berries Fall

Dana Rohrabacher, a Republican who represented Orange County in Congress for 15 terms, lost his bid for re-election.

His defeat accentuates the Republican’s loss of its political dominance in Orange County.

Democratic Candidate Harley Rouda received 52 percent of the vote to Mr. Rohrabacher’s 48 percent.

Mr. Rouda, 56, became a symbol of the Democratic efforts to win back Congress this year.

Mr. Rohrabacher, 71, was particularly vulnerable because he defended Russia in the midst of its intervention in elections in the United States.

Trump's Republicans ARE the party of Russia (or were).

In July, Mr. Rohrabacher admitted to meeting with Maria Butina, who was charged with conspiracy and acting as a foreign agent, during his trip to St. Petersburg Russia in 2015. So, they had dinner.

Mr. Rohrabacher was considered so valuable to the Kremlin that the F.B.I. warned him in 2012 that Russia regarded him as an intelligence source worthy of a code name.

His support for Trump’s ties to Vladimir Putin raised serious questions -- even among other Republicans.

Democrat Josh Harder has defeated Rep. Jeff Denham (Calif.), a week after the midterm elections were held, knocking off yet another Republican.

The Associated Press called the race for Harder on last night.

Denham had sought to distance himself from President Trump, even as GOP leaders were fighting to keep Trump tolerable.

But it was too late. The ballot, not toilet paper seperated these two dingle berries from Trump’s ass hair.

Donald Trump, who campaigned hard to make the election about him, claimed victory, despite losing the House in the biggest Democratic landslide since 2006. The Democratic pickup of 38 seats in the House is even larger than under “W” in 2006 — the last time Democrats took the House from Republicans by acquiring 32 seats.

In the meantime, Trump has been going through Whitehouse staff at a record pace. With the departure of White House Counsel Don McGahn, “Tier One turnover” in the Trump administration has reached a record-setting 83% turnover.
