Half a Trillion

So trump gets up from lunch and says: "What are the damages?"

Hurricane Irma is already one for the record books.

You may have seen a bold headline warning that Irma is a “Category 6” storm.

There is no such thing.

According to the NWS, Irma is the strongest storm ever in the Atlantic. And it’s not far off from the all-time record hurricane/cyclone wind speed of 190 mph.

As a Category 5 with sustained winds of 185 miles per hour, Irma now ranks among the most powerful cyclones ever recorded. Irma has sustained these 185 mph winds for more than 24 hours, a record length of time. And it’s one of the most powerful hurricanes to ever make landfall.

Armchair meteorologists suggested that, since Irma’s winds were 28 miles per hour past Category 5, 6 makes sense.

Other armchair meteorologists claim Irma will dissipate into a colony of piss ants by the time she reaches Florida.

Some pray that the hurricane will pass by and hit the gentiles instead.

If "God only knows," then Irma is a "Gift from God." Receive her like a guest!

Hurricanes are quite likely to become stronger, and the strongest ones more frequent.

Oy Vey! Expect more guests!

Don't worry, Irma will not close Trump Tower Tampa!

It closed before it opened.

But Category 6 still is not going to happen. The scale was developed from 1 to 5.

The purpose of the categories, known as the Saffir-Simpson scale, is to quantify a hurricane’s destructive power, and the destructive power of a Category 5 hurricane — one with sustained winds of at least 157 miles per hour — is virtually total.

On Wednesday, the fierce storm hit the leeward (i.e. northeastern) Caribbean islands, moving through Barbuda and St. Martin. The New York Times reports widespread damage to property, homes, and infrastructure on these and other islands. Gaston Browne, the prime minister of Antigua and Barbuda told reporters Barbuda “is totally destroyed — 90 percent at least.”

So Trump's question can be honestly answered: "Since you took office, the damages from global warming events accelerated. Apparently God does not favor the folks who voted for you."

Road to total destruction, remember Hurricane Ivan in Pensacola?

You KNOW what they say in the Cult of Trump: "I will survive!"
