Awareness
is the result of an awakening.
Enlightenment is awareness in action.
European politics, philosophy, science and communications were radically reoriented during the course of the “long 18th century” (1685-1815) as part of a movement referred to by its participants as the Age of Reason, or simply the Enlightenment. (wiki)
Is trump hoisted on his own petar?
Hoist with his own petar is a Shakespearean idiom from Hamlet. By "hoist with his own petar", Hamlet means he is metaphorically turning the tables on Claudius. Shakespeare's use of "petar" (flatulate) rather than "petard" is an off-color pun.
It alludes to how Claudius’ efforts will end with the poop landing on himself. The root of this word is from the Latin flatus – "breaking wind."
Donald Trump is his own worst enemy. Recall, for example, how “Muslim ban” comments from him and his advisers came back to haunt the Trump Administration when its travel ban got litigated in the courts.
[Trump’s] Twitter trail is a great gift to all the lawyers who are investigating RussiaGate.
To deflect attention from RussiaGate, Der Retard used ‘his bellows’ to stir up white supremacy.
Trump said it’s “Sad to see the history and culture of our great country being ripped apart” with the removal of Confederate statues and monuments around the country.
Yes, a history of slavery and a culture of bigotry.
Trump in a Thursday tweet called them “our beautiful statues and monuments” and said “you can’t change history, but you can learn from it.”
…the beauty that is being taken out of our cities, towns and parks will be greatly missed and never able to be comparably replaced!

“Robert E Lee, Stonewall Jackson – who’s next, Washington, Jefferson? So foolish!” Trump continued. “The beauty that is being taken out of our cities, towns and parks will be greatly missed and never able to be comparably replaced!”
GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham says President Donald Trump’s stance on the Charlottesville, Virginia violence and death is garnering praise from “some of the most racist and hate-filled individuals and groups” and called on him to “please fix this.”
No, Mr. Graham, YOU fix this!
