After taking the reins from disgraced Turkish government agent Michael Flynn, McMaster evicted his predecessor’s team of crackpot Islamophobes from the National Security Council, and won a war of attrition with Steve Bannon.

Of late, Kushner, McMaster, Cohn, and Sessions are all on the ropes.

McMaster scaled back Kushner’s portfolio but didn’t completely oust him or first daughter Ivanka Trump.

Now, the adult in the playpen is GONE.

Trump replaced H.R. McMaster as national security adviser in a move harmonized by choirboys (chief of staff) John Kelly and (Defense Secretary) James Mattis.

Some reported that President Trump's lead lawyer, John Dowd, resigned on Thursday as his strategy for cooperating with the inquiry grew increasingly at odds with Trump's desire for a complete shutdown of the RussiaGate investigation. Dowd advised against it but it was a do-or-die moment for the barrister.

Good lawyers would not take (of keep) a client like the trumpster in the dumpster. Dowd got out with damp shoes - while he could.

Others reported that John Dowd, had resigned from the President's personal legal team handling the response to the Russia investigation because Dowd, in urging the President to resist attacking people turned out to be a mismatch for Trump’s retarded insistence on belittling and bullying the unfaithful.

His departure comes as Trump has sought new additions to his team dealing with the special counsel investigation.

Republicans pushed back against Donald Trump for firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

McCabe shouldn’t have been fired days before he was due to retire in an episode that risks demoralizing and “smearing” agents, said Republican Senator Marco Rubio of Florida.

“He should have been allowed to finish through the weekend,” Rubio said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” …two days before he was set to retire after more than two decades with the bureau. “I would’ve certainly done it differently.”

Saturday morning, Rep. Charlie Dent (R-PA) harshly criticized Trump’s decision to fire former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, adding that he doesn’t think it bodes well for his party.

“Candidly, it looks like retribution and a bit vindictive,” Dent said. “And I think it’s unfortunate. The man said he’s resigning, and on a Friday night before his 50th birthday, he’s fired to take away his pension? I don’t like… this. I really don’t.”

McCabe took on the role during one of the most tumultuous and politically charged periods in F.B.I. history. Mr. McCabe was at the center of the inquiries into both Mrs. Clinton's use of a private email server and the Trump campaign's connections to Russian intelligence officers.
