Who is subsidized?

first, the myth:
click on the above for a larger view.

The Archer Daniels Midland Corporation (ADM) has been a prominent recipient of corporate welfare.

Eleven U.S. corporations including General Electric*, Boeing, and Wells Fargo together reported 62 billion in domestic profits in 2010 while paying a negative 3.6 percent federal tax rate.

*GE brought us the inefficient** Mach 1 reactors at Fukushima Ddaiichi!

Outsourcing costs American hundreds of thousands of jobs and corporations that outsource are subsidized with your tax dollars!

Government-run direct jobs programs should have been set up years ago. Giveaways to companies who don't provide decent-paying jobs is hardly good for business. Who, in America, can afford to buy their goods or services when the good jobs have been shipped overseas?

Devil's Advocate
