Newt wants the Moon to be the 51st state.
Well, it's time to raise that bet! Mitt can do it with Jupiter!MORMON MAGIC
Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum are two of the greatest men ever to cross the Utah state line! Joseph Smith was a "glass looker" that was arrested, tried, and convicted in Bainbridge, N.Y. in 1826. Joseph Smith used a stone placed in his hat to "locate buried treasure."
In 1974 Dr. Reed Durham, president of the Mormon History Association, made a discovery that a previously misidentified "Masonic jewel of the Prophet Joseph Smith" was in reality a "Jupiter talisman." This is a medallion which contains symbols related to astrology and magic. Dr. Durham announced this important find in his presidential address before the Mormon History Association coven of April 20, 1974:
". . . I should like to initiate all of you into what is perhaps the strangest, the most mysterious, occult-like… practice ever adopted by Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith the Prophet possessed a magical… talisman, which he worked during his lifetime and which was evidently on his person when he was martyred." (Mormon Miscellaneous, vol. 1, no. 1, October 1975, pages 14-15).
A photograph of an identical object appears after page 106 in Francis Barrett's book, The Magis (facsimile reprint by University Books, Inc., 1967).
Barrett's book was originally printed in 1801.
Hot Damn! The Newt can kiss my grits! I bought a replica of my own!I can wear this proudly and let everyone know that among the republicans I support Mitt Romney! I say, let every educated voter know I am backing the King of Bain! In the GOP primary, that is...
"The fix is in for Romney, which just means when he is crushed by Barack Obama a lot of Republicans will have a lot of explaining to do. Newt may not be able to win. But Romney sure as hell can’t beat Obama either if Newt can’t win. The problem remains — Gingrich supporters intrinsically know this to be so and are happy to die fighting. Romney’s supporters are still deluding* themselves."
Republicans in general have delusions of adequacy.
